Dr Yasaman Adli

Dr Yasaman Adli is an adult and perinatal psychiatrist. She currently holds a public consultant position at The Women’s hospital. Dr Adli has also held consultant psychiatrist appointments with Eastern health, working with various inpatient and outpatient teams and perinatal mental health services.
Dr Adli provides care for a wide range of conditions in psychiatry and has a particular interest in Women’s Health. She sees women from pre-conception to pregnancy and the postnatal period. She assists patients who have faced challenges with infertility, adjustment to pregnancy/parenthood, mood and anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, and pregnancy loss and grief.
Dr Adli works collaboratively with her patients to understand the biological, psychological, social and cultural contributors to their emotional difficulties. She provides comprehensive tailored care to women, babies and their families. This may include individual psychotherapy, parent-child psychotherapy and medications.
Dr Adli is a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of psychiatrists. She completed her psychiatric training through Eastern Health, St John Of God, and The Royal Women’s Hospital. She has a wide range of experience having worked with various inpatient and outpatient teams as well as different perinatal mental health services.
