COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT: Telehealth sessions available.
Please contact individual
practitioners about Telehealth.
The Perinatal Psychiatry Network is a collaboration of specialist Perinatal Psychiatrists who practise independently in a number of locations around Melbourne and Victoria. Our network has close links to the Antenatal & Postnatal Psychology Network in order to jointly provide the full spectrum of outpatient mental health services to women, men and couples in the pre-conception phase, pregnancy and the postpartum.

Pre-conception planning and the perinatal period can bring about questions and concerns for patients who have a previous history of mental health problems, who are currently on medication, or who are struggling with a mood disturbance or thought disturbance during pregnancy or the postnatal period. Our Perinatal Psychiatrists provide specialist consultation to GPs, Obstetricians, general adult Psychiatrists and Psychologists, when their patients require assessment and assistance during these vulnerable times.edit.

During and after each pregnancy, mental health matters as much as physical health.

The wellbeing of parents is vital for the wellbeing of babies.
